Glass Bead Making

Learn all about making glass beads at the minor bench burner. Learn how to create ten different bead styles including our popular landscape and fish bead. Learn the proper set up of your studio, torch and how to safely set up your gas and oxygen tanks. Unleash your creativity in our new fun glass studio!
Glass Fusing & Slumping

Learn glass fusing and slumping in the glass kiln. In this class you will make a glass 4″ x 4″ glass tile with Spectrum System 96. You will learn how to safely operate a glass kiln and set up your own glass studio. This two day class is jam packed full of good, useful information along with fun design ideas for future projects. This is a two day class.
Glass Cold Working

Spend the day in the glass shop and learn how to use tools of the glass trade. Circle cutting, pattern cutting, polishing, finishing and more. $75.00
Blow Your Own Ornament

Glass Blowing 101 &102

Want to learn to blow glass? Schedule this one-on-one class with a professional glass blower and learn to work at the bench, use the glass making tools and make some awesome glass!
Glass Hearts Class
Learn how to work as a team! In this class you and your partner will learn the venetian style of glass blowing. Learn about what the gaffer and the assistant does during the process of making two glass hearts. You’ll work at the gaffers bench learning to manipulate the glass with the tools of the trade.
Glass Paperweights
Saturdays 11am – 4pm

Learn how to make a spiral paperweight at the glassblowers bench. You’ll be working with color and shaping the molten glass with cherry wood molds.
Glass Flowers
Beautiful glass flowers are made by stretching and working with the molten glass at 2100 degrees.
Glass Demonstrations

Free glass blowing demonstrations allow visitors to see and learn about the ancient art of glassblowing. Glass blowers make colorful glass bowls, vases and ornaments from molten glass. The gallery and studio celebrate creativity every November and December with performances by local musicians, visiting artist exhibits and demonstrations and art openings and parties.
