As of October 1st we will be located at 209 Laurel Street, thirteen miles inland of Myrtle Beach in Conway, South Carolina. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm.

The Conway Glass features all kinds of glass including mirrors, shower doors, tabletops, window glass and textured glass. The gallery features “Pop’s Original Blown Glass” along with the art of some of the Grand Strand’s favorite visual artists.

White House Ornament

A Christmas ornament handcrafted at Conway Glass Center has made its way to the nation’s capital to decorate the U.S. travel themed Christmas tree in the White House! Conway Glass Center provided a large hand blown, ocean-themed ornament to represent the Grand Strand region. Inspired by the Atlantic Ocean, the ornament was created through a vital combination of fire, sand and air by glass artists Barbara and Ed Streeter of Conway, South Carolina.

“It’s so exciting to think that one of our ornaments has made it all the way to the White House. A lot of time and thought went in to creating the ornament, and it’s great for our area to be included among the Christmas decorations in the President’s home,” said Barbara Streeter, co-owner of Conway Glass Center.

Conway Glass Center is proud to make reproductions available and each one includes a label of authenticity.

Glass Blowing Demonstrations

Conway Glass Center features 6000 square feet of glass products from blown glass and stained glass creations to more traditional glass products for your home and office. Owners Ed & Barbara Streeter have over 50 years combined experience in the glass industry.

Conway Glass Center hosts glass blowing classes and the Center invites visitors to experience and learn about glass blowing during one of our public glass blowing demos held several times each year.

“One of the things we REALLY wanted to do while in MB was take a glass blowing class–which we did, at Conway Glass. It was absolutely amazing and we recommend everyone try it! We made Christmas Ornaments, and can?t hardly wait until we get them in the mail. (We took the class on our last day & the pieces need to cool for 24-48 hours, so they are shipping them to us:)”
